When you arrive here, you've already chosen something special: a state-recognized health resort, one of Germany's most beautiful mountain regions, fresh air that truly lives up to its name – and a hotel that has decided to take all of this seriously. Sustainability isn't a marketing strategy for us. It's how we do business. Every day, in every area, without exception.
It is often the quiet decisions that have the greatest impact. Decisions that make it possible to combine comfort, enjoyment, and slowing down with a conscious focus on tomorrow.

The Nagelfluhkette Nature Park was recognized as a "Destination Nature" by BUND, NABU, VCD, and Deutsche Bahn in February 2026 – the first new area to receive this distinction in four years. This international award recognizes sustainable tourism in one of Germany's most beautiful mountain regions. While this award belongs to the nature park, not to us, it highlights the stunning landscape you'll encounter when visiting us and the high standards we set for ourselves as hosts.

We clean your room when you want us to – not automatically every day. This gives you more peace and privacy. And it saves water, energy, and cleaning products. You decide the schedule. Daily cleaning is, of course, always an option.

Steibis is a state-recognized air spa resort – not just a marketing slogan, but an official quality designation. The Nagelfluhkette Nature Park right on our doorstep received international recognition in 2026. We are part of this region, and we manage our businesses accordingly.

Room cleaning upon request
GreenOption
We clean your room when you want us to – not according to a rigid hotel schedule. This isn't about sacrifice, it's about offering more privacy, more peace and quiet – your room truly belongs to you. And as an added bonus: less water consumption, less energy, and less cleaning product in the environment. Towels, bathrobes, or anything else you might need are available at any time – just ask housekeeping or reception.
Daily cleaning? Absolutely no problem. Door hanger on the outside of the door between 7:30 and 11:00.
Kitchen & Culinary Delights

The Allgäu region is one of Germany's richest food-producing areas. We leverage this proximity – not as a promise on the menu, but as our core purchasing principle. We work with select suppliers whose supply chains we know and can trace. No anonymous wholesalers. Instead: organic products, regional producers, seasonal cuisine, Fairtrade coffee. What you eat here has a short journey, a known origin, and a taste that reflects that.
